Kayla Johnson's Bio
Kayla Johnson is a sophomore majoring in journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). Born and raised in Las Vegas, Kayla moved to Reno to focus on education and prepare for a future career in broadcast and print journalism. At UNR Kayla is heavily involved on campus. She serves as Vice President of Keep a Child Alive Foundation, Secretary of Mosaic Club and A.B.L.E Women and is involved in many other organizations as well. Besides having leadership positions in the many organizations she belongs to, Kayla is also a reporter for The Nevada Sagebrush newspaper on campus. Once financially established in the upcoming years she plans to create a non-profit organization that will benefit underprivileged teenagers. Kayla has a carefree spirit and is always willing to give back to the community.
